Sandpiper

Terms of use

Effective October 5, 2026.

Sandpiper is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (the "EULA"). The points below add to it and explain how the app and its subscriptions work.

Health and safety

Sandpiper gives general walking and exercise guidance. It is not medical advice and doesn't replace advice from your doctor. If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, joint problems, are pregnant, or haven't been active for a while, check with your doctor before starting. Stop and seek help if you feel chest pain, dizziness or unusual shortness of breath.

Walk where it's safe to do so, stay aware of traffic and your surroundings, and keep your music at a volume that lets you hear what's around you. Distances shown in the app are estimates.

Subscriptions

Content

The app's text, drawings, sounds and design were made for Sandpiper. Journey stops and facts are written in our own words from public sources; they're for interest and may not be complete or up to date.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
